Do I need to make an appointment?

Patients referred for CT and Ultrasound examinations are encouraged to make an appointment as we may need to explain the preparation prior to your visit. No appointment is necessary for just a walk-in xray.

Please be reminded that our practices will only accept Work Cover requests so long that it is accompanied by a pre-approval letter and sufficient claim details.

To make an appointment, visit our locations page for details of your closest practice.

How much will my scan cost?

The service we offer at all our practices is personal, professional and reliable. We pride our reputation on this level of service and therefore we are unable to routinely bulk bill examinations. At the time of your booking, our staff will advise you of the cost of the examination and the expected Medicare rebate.

EFTPOS facilities are available and all our practices accept MasterCard, VISA and cash.

Please note that payment is expected at the end of each appointment.

How long will my results take?

Routine reports are sent to your referring doctor within 24 hours of your appointment. Studies that are marked clinically urgent are read as a priority by the on duty radiologist. Critical or unexpected clinical findings found during radiologist interpretation are immediately communicated by telephone to the referring practitioner.

We encourage all patients to make a follow up appointment with their medical practitioner to discuss their results.

Are my details and results secure?

All our practices are committed to protecting and preserving the privacy of your personal health information and records.

Our staff recognise the importance and principles of  doctor-patient confidentiality and as such will not unlawfully disclose your information to third parties.

What do I need to bring to my appointment?

  • Referral from your medical practitioner
  • Medicare Card or Veterans Affairs
  • Relevant prior imaging or reports
