Yes, our clinic provides a dedicated women’s imaging service. This includes mammograms, breast ultrasound, pelvic MRI and obstetric imaging such as dating, nuchal translucency and morphology scans.
Yes, a valid referral from your healthcare provider is required for all imaging services. If you have a referral addressed to another provider, you can still use it at Inverell Diagnostic Imaging.
Yes, you’re welcome to bring a support person with you to your appointment. In some cases, they may be asked to wait in the reception area during your scan to ensure safety and privacy.
Preparation varies depending on the type of scan. Some imaging, such as ultrasound or CT, may require fasting or drinking extra fluids. We’ll provide clear instructions when you book your appointment.
We’ll send your results to your referring doctor, who will discuss them with you and guide you on the next steps in your care. Your images and reports will be available in the Alpenglow Australia Patient App approximately 7-10 days after your scan.
