You can submit a booking request online here or call us to make a booking. You are welcome to walk in for x-rays without an appointment.

Yes, a current referral from a GP, specialist or allied health practitioner is required. Referrals can be emailed, faxed, or uploaded through our online booking system.

East Tamworth Diagnostic Imaging is a mixed-billing practice, our friendly reception team will inform you of any out-of-pocket costs prior to your appointment.

Please bring your referral and valid Medicare card. Our friendly staff will guide you on any preparation needed for your appointment.

Our fast report turnaround means that your results are typically sent to your referring doctor within 24 hours.

The receptionist was the most beautiful soul I have ever met and for that itself made my sad day into a better day, because of one kind soul… I will not go anywhere else as long as she is there…I was a mess so unfortunately I didn’t get her name, but will never forget her face or kindness 🥹

I was apprehensive to come back to East Tamworth Medical Imaging after we were disappointed with our first pregnancy scan. We were very excited (as it’s our first baby) however the sonographer was rude and very disinterested in doing our scan. We left feeling very deflated and upset with our experience. However we did return for our next scan and we’re very delighted to have Emily as our sonographer, she was lovely, bubbly and chatty. She answered all of our questions and explained what she was looking at as the scan went on. It makes a world of difference having a sonographer who actually want their patient to have a positive experience. Thanks Emily!
