Cowra Diagnostic Imaging is a mixed-billing practice, our friendly reception team will inform you of any out-of-pocket costs prior to your appointment.

Scans times will vary depending on the procedure. An x-ray usually takes less than 15 minutes, while CT and ultrasound appointments will take longer. Our team will advise you of the expected duration when you book.
Please bring your referral, Medicare card, and any pension or concession cards to your appointment. Our friendly staff will guide you through any preparation that may be required.
Our interventional clinic performs procedures such as ultrasound and CT guided injections for joints, spine, and soft tissues. These are often used for pain management, diagnosis, or treatment of musculoskeletal conditions.
Your scan results will be sent to your referring doctor, who will discuss them with you and guide you on the next steps in your care. Your images and reports will be available in the Alpenglow Australia Patient App approximately 7-10 days after your scan. Click here to learn more.
