You can submit a booking request online here or call us to make a booking.
Ultrasound appointments at Ayr Diagnostic Imaging usually take 20–30 minutes, although some scans may take longer depending on scan complexity. CT scans typically take 15–30 minutes. Our team will confirm the expected duration when you book.
We recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing without zippers, buttons, or metal fasteners, as these can interfere with some scans. You may be asked to change into a gown for certain procedures.
We’ll send your results to your referring doctor, who will discuss them with you and guide you on the next steps in your care. Your images and reports will be available in the Alpenglow Australia Patient App approximately 7-10 days after your scan. Click here to learn more.

Ayr Diagnostic Imaging Services
X-ray
Ayr Diagnostic Imaging offers walk-in x-ray services for a range of general imaging needs. Using advanced digital technology, we ensure high-quality images that support accurate diagnoses and timely treatment.
Ultrasound
We provide a wide range of ultrasound services, performed by experienced sonographers and interpreted by expert radiologists. This non-invasive imaging technique uses sound waves to create real-time images, making it safe for patients of all ages, including pregnant women and children.
CT scan
At Ayr Diagnostic Imaging, we offer general and specialised CT scan services including CT calcium scoring, which is a non-invasive assessment of the coronary arteries. CT calcium scoring can help determine whether arteries are blocked by the build-up of calcified plaque, which is a marker for coronary artery disease. We use low-dose CT technology to prioritise your safety while delivering high-quality diagnostic images.
OPG, Lat & PA Ceph
Ayr Diagnostic Imaging offers OPG dental imaging, providing valuable insights for dental and orthodontic assessments. These x-rays assist in evaluating impacted wisdom teeth, monitoring dental development, and supporting routine dental screenings.
