Bone Mineral Densitometry is a safe, quick, and painless test that measures bone density to assess osteoporosis risk. This service is available at Katoomba Diagnostic Imaging.
Please bring your referral, Medicare card, and any pension or concession cards to your appointment. Our friendly staff will guide you through any preparation that may be required.
We’ll send your results to your referring doctor, who will discuss them with you and guide you on the next steps in your care. Your images and reports will be available in the Alpenglow Australia Patient App approximately 7-10 days after your scan.
